my cfr 600 will sometimes only rev up to 7000 rpm, have 72 gr weights installed speedwerx clutch kit. i cleaned the clutches, i am sure belt deflection is good. i am suspiciuos of the belt ultimax 3. i have cleaned the power valves
i think it should rev at 8000rpm all the time or higher.
if i put lighter weights in will that help?
stock weights were 70gr
it is weird if u let it siit for a bit i can get it up to 7500, but that still is not good enough
any suggestion? when it comes to clutching i am lost:confused:

bdx intake, 1.5 timing key installed also and a pos genesis chip i wasted money on:mad:

In my head
Swap the belt back to stock and see what happens. Ultimax belts tend to be a bit softer and pull the RPM's down. Your Speedwerx kit was tuned to factory belts, not aftermarket. You could lighten the weights, but you might be giving up something elsewhere due to the kit. RPM's for the 6 should be around 7900 to 8050 on the sleds tach.

put a factory belt on and it ran good, pulls 7700rpm's, going to try and put 68's or the stock 70's back in.

nothing makes me more mad than getting beat by a stock 600 doo and then a yammy on top of that:rant:
