removed cornices and took a look at 10 never climbed chutes top and bottom, some pics are from last may , but the snow is perfect right now to get these awesome chutes done..

this 2100' chute is tight in the middle, as you can see from the top looking down , it opens up nice at the top, lots of views from the bottom and from the opposing ridge too.

tried one on the left last june, needs a bit more cornice removal , but it's in good shape this yr too..

brass balls looks easy again this yr..

wow, some of those dont look very doable to me. i dont ride a turbo hill climber though. pretty nuts to even attempt a few of those. krazy is an understatement.

Wow, Dan!!!! Looks like some crazy lines to be had!!!

Just a heads up to those of you planning on heading up the Norns with KC...
The Castlegar Snowmobile Association has installed donation boxes at the trail
heads. I doubt we will be able to get a volunteer to man both trail heads, so
please drop off your trail passes in the boxes. It's $10/sled, and helps us to
maintain the trails and cabins up there.
