Hey guys I just bought my son a 2008 phazer 500. Put a new belt on it and noticed that it is sitting really low in the secondary clutch after I ran it on the stand. Shut the machine off, turn the track by hand and the belt rises up to where it looks like it should sit. Is there any way to adjust the secondary or does it need to be rebuilt? Sled has less than 2000 km on it.
Thanks in advance for any feedback

pull off the secondary, on the back side you will see three 8mm bolts. These may or not have washers behind the head depending on previous adjustments. If your belt is low they must have removed the washers for a previously worn belt as this allows the bolt to thread in further spreading the two sheaves to keep a belt from squeeling. If the washers are not installed then the spring may have lost its tension and or the secondary needs some servicing to allow the helix to shift fully back up the ramp to raise the belt properly. 2000km on this machine is not much so wear is unlikely
