Just took my "new to me" sled for a rip in the stubble field and was surprised to find that it topped out at 125kmh. Snow's not very deep, you can still see the straw stalk tops. 0-100 is very quick and it doesn't take much longer to hit top end, the gearing is stock and the belt is new--rpm 7900-8100. I put it in the garage and the clutch sheaves were not hot, I could hold on for 4 seconds. I spun it up with the guard off to find that the primary is closing all the way. What's up?? I'm happy enough to drive 125k on stubble but I thought this sled should have a lot more top end than that. Thanks, Russ.
