    atv stereo

I have a system by dunertunes. I talked with Sam (from dunertunes) and he built a system to suit the skeg and the snow for me. MP3 player amp and speakers. All marine gear. It rocks too. If you have a 12V plug get a mid sized solar panel from "the tire" and set it up at the end of the day to...

    rzr tire size

Zillas are the right choice. They are lightweight so you can clean the lugs and have a good tread for the conditions west of rocky. Shale and sharp rocks seem to eat em up a little but its better than digging down in the softies.

    All MUDDERS!

Isn't this the MUD PIT CHAT. Sorta seems like the wrong place crusade against mud riders. Pick up your garbage wear your helmet and be respectful. Pretty simple to me.

    zillas holding up on utv?

I love the zillas. Lightweight yet gnarly lug. I did knock one off the rim when I found a log in the bottom of a snorkle worthy hole. Guess I'll need some Swamp Lox. :homer:

    Finally Operation Rzr Repair starting

Okay so I finally have enough dough saved to fix my Rzr but want to upgrade some stuff along the way. I will be rebuilding the front left corner due to a lost castle nut and hub failure causing the wheel to come off and destroyed the brake system. I need to do tie rod and steering rack and was...

Tachycardia Performance / Rubber Down Customs

I am running the RDC lift on the RZR. I have not had any problems with CVs yet but will be saving this winter for turner axles also available through Rubberdown just to be sure. I have maxed out my suspension but the majority of riding I enjoy is mud mud and more mud. Any ,more questions feel...

Thief using picker truck to steal quads

There have also been some thefts in Ft Sask. My neighbor had his quad stolen from the back of his pickup last weekend. They tried to take the whole rig but he had a hidden fuel pump shut off on his truck so they just smashed the steering column slit his seats and trashed the inside. Keep your...

    rzr or 850xp

Slightly biased opinion but my vote is for the RZR. I took an XP for a ride a couple of weeks ago and was impressed. Very powerful and comfortable ride but no passengers. The width of the non "S" RZR sounds like it would be better suited to the trail riding you do. The RZR lets me take one...

    RZR Broken

I managed to remove the front left tire on my RZR this last ride. Didn't even need to undo one bolt!! I lost a hub nut in a mud hole and the only thing left holding it together was the caliper. Didn't take long for it to let go once we hit dry trail again. Exciting when the drivers tire...

    Polaris Rzr's

I can't say a big gain was noticed because all the big tires and rims, snorkle and the lift went on at that time as well. No loss though.

    family Pets

Here are a couple pics of the troop around here. Big brindle guy is Morley (Old English Mastiff) about 9 yrs old (rescue) and Bailey (australian Sheppard Colllie X) almost 15 (also a rescue). The fawn Mastiff (Oscar) was my bestest buddy in the world but he passed some number of years ago. The...

things that make ya go hmmmmm

I agree. Just enjoy the vast wealth of knowledge available and quit the bashing. Alot of these things start as two buddies trashing a bit and then someone else jumps in and AWAY WE GO. Loving this site!!

    Polaris Rzr's

I also run a rubberdown customs lift (2") and I fit 14" wheels and 28" zillas. I maxed out my spring stiffness and am looking at some spring stiffeners from Rubberdown as well. The stiffeners may add a little extra lift so they will only go up front for me. A dragonfire clutch kit and an...

    RZR Packing up with mud

I am thinking of using spray foam to fill the holes in my plastic skid plate. After the last ride I pulled 2 wheelbarrows of mud from underneath the skid plate. Anybody try this or have another trick? Thanks

    Heading to Bearberry

Loading up the toys and heading for the bearberry/rig street area on Friday. Hope the weather is good and the mud is ......flingy? Hopefully not too busy with the holiday being on Wed. Last time I was out there the CO's were all over. Hope they find some stolen gear. They stop you once then...

    The right tires

I have 28" zillas and they do quite well in the mud. They are a little lumpy at low speed but I can handle lumpy on and off the trailer. They are also light and therefore you can spin them easier in the thick gumbo. They don't look quite as agressive as the Bitches though. wow!! The zillas...

How many run sound systems in their UTV

I think that sounds good but I wanted to stay away from a head unit. I went with the MP3 straight to the amp. actually anything with a 3.5 mm headphone out will work. Sattelite radio etc.. I had it made by Dunertues and it all fits perfectly. Marine Amp and marine 6x9. Handles the mud...
