Was out on Saturday, all the open areas were tracked out still plenty of fresh lines in the trees which was fine with us. Trail in and out was smooth. Base is half set up in the trees. Some spots are good others you will punch right through. Still some exposed creeks so keep an eye out.
No pics but the board just slides between the tunnel and the front peg. The edge of the snowboard sits on the plastic mounted on the foot board just ahead of the front peg. The back of the board slides in between the wing and the post, snowboard edge also sits on a plastic spacer. The ratchet...
I found Knight Rider Racks to be the cleanest looking snowboard rack for my 146. The kit comes with both sides but I only need one board rack so I split the kit with my brother. The only thing I added was an elastic from a set of burton gloves and attached it to a supplied eyelet mounted in the...
I agree while simply raising the octane of your fuel will do nothing to help performance, however some kinds of race fuel that have been heavily oxygenated will require you to jet up a size of two. By consuming more fuel at a proper tune an engine should net more power. This would be a minimal...
I too am interested in people's experience with the heat-soak issue. A colder thermostat should be a benefit but is it only truly realized when running a big bore or power adder?
If you want the good flammable brakekleen, it's behind the parts counter at auto value.. Might take a little sweet talking but you can get it without an account. Stuff just works better than the new non-flammable crap they have out on the floor..
A trick I use for checking for intake leaks on automotive engines is to have them running and spray a combustible fluid on the suspect sealing surfaces (WD40, Brakekleen). If the rpms pick up then you know there is a leak there.
While xylene does have a higher octane rating I believe it has some properties in it that cause a negative reaction with rubber. I have used toluene as an octane booster in some drag car engines with nothing but success and can attest to it being safe to use with rubber lines.
Got a buddy that has one on his '08 dragon.. absolutely loves it but it is not indestructible as his is bent already. In it's defense it took a pretty hard hit to deform it, his front end would have been toast if it was not on. Can't go wrong with chassis reinforcement imho.
I agree run whatever you want.. but a cast piston is in no way more "dimensionally stable" (stronger) than a forged piston. I am new to the 2 stroke game and cannot comment on the reliability of wiseco vs stock argument, but have been building high horsepower small/big block engines for years...
(This has been borrowed from another board)
Forged pistons are more durable than cast pistons will ever be. Cast pistons are very brittle, and are prone to skirt breakage as a result.
For riders that will take the time to do a proper break-in, and will discipline themselves enough to fully...
As I've been lead to believe the Grip and Rip braces are to try and strengthen the A arm mounts to allow the a arms to bend before the E and S modules do. Did you have to replace your A arms as well? I'd change A arms all day before wanting to do an S or E!
