I am going to order the system but am wondering if you can get an extension cable to make the cable to the dish longer. It comes with 50 ft cable and that may be a bit short. I looked on the site but can't find anything.

Has anyone tried to boost the signal from a starlink wifi? We have a starlink unit in our camp but it is about 300 to 400 ft away from my trailer so I can't get a signal. Is it possible to boost the signal so it would reach out a lot farther? Or, pick up a weak signal and make it strong...

The repeater story is bull. Repeaters are only used in big cities where tall buildings block the signal. What ever they have done has weakened the signal strength.

I have had a global star GSP1600 for over 10 years. For a while it was terrible. Now with the new satellites up and in use it is awesome. Call quality is great. This is an older model phone but it works great. I see them for sale on Kajiji in BC for as little as $150.

A buddy of mine has one of these. He packs it in the bush and on the river for a bear gun. He got a houlster made so it hangs on his hip like a hand gun or slips it in alongside his packboard. Works very well and is comfortable to pack around and best of all perfectly legal.
