1997 Polaris Sportsman fuel pump problem?

does the exhaust seem hotter than it should be? When my King's pump was toast it would backfire and dump super hot exhaust gas. Also, when my buddy's renegades pump was toast you could see this red hot glowing ember in his exhaust.

    How are the 2012 Brutes

So far I really like mine. PS is good. stay's cool. As in the fan isn't running 24/7. Engine feels awesome!! Ground clearance is not huge but if you look at the shallow angle of the cv's, I imagine you could put a lift kit on without worrying about steep cv angles. I kind of like the looks of...

cvt light 2012 Brute Force 750

I'm going to get them to look into it for my 10hr valve check and I'm going to make it perfectly clear right off the bat that I don't expect to be charged for it or I won't be a very pleasant fellow. Those guys at Acheson Cycle works seem ok. We'll soon find out.

cvt light 2012 Brute Force 750

Went on a a 3 day quadding trip with a couple buddies a couple weeks ago and I took my almost brand new 2012 Brute with me. We pulled into this small clearing and I parked my Brute on a hill with the front of the Brute on the low side. When I started the quad 10 mins later the CVT light was on...

New Quad in 700-850 need help

Reliability was at the top of my list the last time I was buying a quad. With that, I figured either Yamaha or Suzuki. I bought the suzuki 750 but I ended up having not so good luck with it. Just picked up a 2012 Brute force 750! I only have about 120 km's on it so far but it feels great and the...

lust over other makes of quad?

I was looking into that but just based on the number of belts my friends Renegade 800 goes through, I'm a little hesitant. I'm not sure about the whole "belt grabber" idea.

lust over other makes of quad?

Maybe it's because you have like 17 lines vented to your airbox.... no wonder you're afraid to get some water in there.

lust over other makes of quad?

It's because you ride yours like a b!tch. I don't see it as the end of the world if I swamp mine. "uuuuuhhh...I don't know....maybe you guys should go first through the water" Maybe you can go first for once through the water this weekend b!tch. :d

lust over other makes of quad?

Do you guys ever fantasize about different machines? I love my King and I wouldn't trade it for any other machine (except maybe another King with power steering) but when a Brute force rumbles by with a pipe........well that's definately my forbidden quad lust :p

    Zilla's VS Mudzilla's....the truth.

That's very possible. Mine were just 26's Also the mud lites may be a little oversized. I never actually through a tape on them

    Zilla's VS Mudzilla's....the truth.

Speaking of measuring, and just kind of on a side note, my 26" Zilla's weren't nearly as tall as my 26 mud lites. How much shorter? I don't know. I never put a tape on them but side by side the Zilla's were considerably shorter.

    Zilla's VS Mudzilla's....the truth.

how about comparing my King 750 with 26" Zilla's with my buddy's Griz 700 with 26" mud bugs. Is that a better comparison Dave?? the bugs performed better.

    Zilla's VS Mudzilla's....the truth.

Sorry for the late reply. In sand, my buddy's mud bugs were better than the outlaws. The outlaws make this crazy awesome sand rooster tail but my friends bugs moved him forward better. Outlaws made the quad a little less agile on hard pack but it really wasnt a severe night and day difference...

    Zilla's VS Mudzilla's....the truth.

Ya a 120 lb lady with zero quad time. She must have a way better mudding technique. You know what? Maybe she is actually an avid quadder and she just never told me? Whats next? some retard is gonna call me a heretic for talking poorly about the sacred Zilla? They're sh!t.
