A group from SK said they parked and rode from staging at Frisbee this morning. Can any one verify? We're travelling tomorrow from Regina and its a pain in the ass to travel with 4 in the truck, a deck, an open place tilt trailer and all of our gear. Enclosed wagons are so much easier for us...
I did a 100 mile rally this weekend and ended up putting in WAY more fuel than everyone else. Had to add my 10 liter jerry can at 40 miles and still added 25$ At mile 60.... Not sure the total dollars spent after mile 100 because I didn't top up. My opinion is that there is a definite difference...
There's a group of 8 of coming from Saskatchewan the same weekend as well. having to break in 3 new sleds on the trail up. Nothing we haven't done in the past!!
Did you put the 08 fuel map in it? I just put the Pms kit in my '10 800 and it runs amazing with out the 08 map. (I do have the SLP Stage 3 map in my PCV)
No one has said what weights to use for sure. I'm in and around Regina and was told "by the kidiots" at the local dealer to run 68's around here and 62's in mcbride area. Also no one (around here) has mentioned changing exhaust valve springs.

So is the final step of this rebuild to get the '08 map put in it? I've had guys say it runs fine with just the hardware (fix kit) done. "Just pull the chord and drive it.
And I've also read quite a few people on here say to get the 08 mapping for sure.

Check grounding from the plate that everything sits on to the plate under it that mounts thru the chassis. I changed my voltage regulator and ran that ground wire from the post at the top on the outside of the plate to the post towards the center of the sled (maybe 5.5" long). Doing that seemed...
Just pulled the chord after the fix kit for the first time last night. We really loaded up the bottom end with oil, so after we ran the oil out we tried a few things and it really seemed to idle like it did before. A bit better sounding but not 100%
I then grounded everything better and...
