Come on Girls a little...
Glad to see you have a sense of haha. You don't see that on alot of forums. I got the Summit back today so I should have a TOP SPEED for everyone on Saturday or Sunday.:d:beer:
Lets race up a mountain in 3 feet of powder.:d I hear the 800's are geared for the mountains...If you want to race stock sleds for pinks...I'll just change a gear and I'll be ready.
Ps. I can get my sister to pin it for you if you'd like.
If you can borrow a GPS. Mine keeps track of top speed. Right now it is at 918 kph. :d I turned it on while flying from Texas. I'll reset it for the Summit 800 run. I would really have to soup it up to get past 918kph.
Guess. Thats what were all doing. I actually think you will be right though. 120 - 130 KPH , it will be in there somewhere. I'm just hoping for 138kph or more. :d
I have 2 buddies that have the garmin 60csx and love it. Not positive if you can transfer from 1 gps to another ...but I would be surprised if you couldn't. The guys at Wholesale sports will be able to answer all your questions. I have a garmin for the car and love it. I had a magellan...
HEY I GOT A GOOD IDEA!! LETS SEE WHO REALLY KNOWS WHAT THEIR TALKING ABOUT, AND WHOS FULL-A-CRAP.
POST YOUR TOP SPEEDS FOR THIS SLED AND WHEN I GET IT BACK I WILL GPS IT ON HARD PACK AT THE LAKE!!!
PUT YOUR EXPERIENCE WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS. :d:beer:

Thanks guys. Considering the last machine I rode before this year was my dads 1977 440 Motoski (which he took to the mountains and loved, in the late 70's at valemont) It will be awesome. The boys at the dealer are takin good care of me. Just told me today, that someone had recently redid the...
I'm far from a Mech., so thats how I translated what the mech said. You know if you turn your clutch slow by hand, you can hear a click sound...well mine wasn't doing that, because the thingys that usually click were stiff.
If I have lots of bottom for the mountains and can still pull 180kph...
I bought a 800 Summit and it needed some clutch work and a belt alignment and a seal, so I havn't been able to try it out much. It would only do about 120kph. The mech said once the clutch is not so stiff It will perform much better. Anyone know how fast a stock 2003 summit 800 will go? :d
Thanks for the heads-up. I got the same reply. Said I would meet them and then they wouldn't have to worry about "all" the potential buyers. Weird no reply yet.:d Thanks again.
Bought a 2003 Summit from Shiftys buddy and the deal included a SOS. I have sat here for half hour and tried to separate the 2 parts...There aren't two parts are there? Close as I can figure is all your buddies wear the same thing and then you all can look for the guy under snow...I figured...
