I know I was ashamed and stewing over this for a few months…

Been a while to get things sorted, However I did find my truck….$13,5k Body in good shape, Little higher mileage, 330k Truck needs nothing,, I still gotta look into getting the seat repaired (wear holes top corner) before it totally gets outta hand… Had two shops go through it to find/address...

If they cough up the $7400 I'll likely do that,,, however I work in disaster restoration and typically the payout is lower than the quoted/claim....

A little update.... Still haven't found a truck, Got T-boned in my 06 2500 hd ... Kinda put the search on the back burner for a bit.... Been an interesting process,, Thought the truck would be a write-off ...$7400 damage and 395,000 km's ,, Its sounding like they'll fix the truck, ,,, I'm good...

The first thing I'll do in the AM is books,,, Heads clear, thinking straight and NO phone calls @5-6am... As a rule I'm ready for year end Jan 1st,,,,,the added bonus is 1st week in Jan my accountant isn't slammed with work so he too can give my file his undivided attention...

And breaking axels is not a challenge or dare...

Ultimately the poorest/bottom of the "pyramid" pay for these sort of things anyways... Lets face it, as Taxes go up people just charge more for what they provide or do... Its all smoke and mirrors...

Fortunately Ive got trucks, time, and am willing to travel a reasonable distance ,,, say 8-10 hr drive If I buy outta BC being an Alberta resident would I still have to pay BC vehicle sale taxes?

Well so far it seems I’ll seek out 04.5 - 07 gm/chev …. Unmolested,,, My Max towing All in +-9500 lbs …. Both my 02‘ & 06‘ - 2500hd 6.0 gassers seem to be ok with this aside from the occasional hill,,,, Also seems reasonable for my purposes to keep it under 160-180 k Depending on body...

So is it wrong to get a chubby when the Laser Hair removal machine comes out ? Kinda all I can safely add to the topic,,,,, still a bit of a high wire act though…
