OK Ya sorry forgot to mention that the switch is gonna be the kill switch. So it is that simple? Open or closed will do it?

Hey guys this may sound stupid but on my XP im trying to wire a toggle switch near the choke. Its all hooked up but the sled wont start. I just assumed that the two wires needed to complete the circuit or not. Is it more complicated than that?

It had about 1200 miles on it. It was running like s@#t, and when we shut it off, a few minutes later tried pulling it over and it was siezed. We through some oil in the jug and cracked it loose to try and limp it home. Within 5 seconds of letting it idle, it sounded worse than ever and...
