A little cool today -29 this morning but warmed up to a crisp -18 by mid afternoon. Decided to leave the office, and head up to the OFFICE ... lol as you will see below. Some areas getting pretty wind scoured over the past few days but where protected the powder is awesome with a soft base.

Rode the Ashonla's south of Keromeos a few years ago and there was some amazing terrain if your into more aggressive stuff .

Well the season has finally stated, approx 3 week later than last year but non the less its looking good now. Monday i drove out from the lodge on gravel and nearly had to chain up on Wednesday to come back up !! Broke trail to the sub alpine ( 6500 ft ) and found approx 3 ft with a soft base...

You know it the North Shuswap is the place to be !! We got a very nice surprise yesterday as well ..... 2 months and we should be riding up here if its anything like last season.

Well with all this rain ... we have been getting, the snow is melting pretty fast. Access to the alpine on Pukeashun is tough now with one of the main creek crossings opening up this week. Not impossible but might get wet trying. As far as staging goes the road is melted out to approx km 38.

Km 22 should still be ok ... for another couple of weeks.

What amazing conditions for Easter weekend ... Couldn't ask for anything better !

Hi Stan ..Yup a ride out that way would be great ! Hope i can make it, will just depend on how busy things are here at the Lodge. Ken and I took a ride yesterday afternoon and was by far the best Easter conditions i have ever seen !!! Talk to ya soon.

Hey guys, just a little update here...... It starting snowing at about 11 this morning and has been absolutely dumping since ... ITS GONNA BE DEEP !!

Well its April 1st and seems like almost everyone has given up on sledding for this season ! Rather unfortunate, as we have had some of our best rides in just the past few days ! Given things have slowed down here at the Lodge we have had the chance to do a little exploring this week to see...

Excellent job on the article ! Thank you . As stated the media is rely giving back-country snowmobiler's a bad name and reputation. I believe over the next year we are going to have to step up to the plate and take a stand on our right to snowmobile in the back-country, with out...
