Also check out You Tube there is a good video showing how to do this. Just search out TPS adjustment on snowmobile or polaris. Forget which one I did. Also there are lots of links on internet on how to build the tool for about $18 from radio shack.

Almost sounds like what happened to mine recently but I had dash lights flickering also. Turns out my voltage regulator was gone and needed the newer one and also my TPS needed adjusting.

Just let you know it was my VR and they also adjusted the TPS. Put on the upgraded VR and the dealer said they have had none return. Thanks everyone.

It appears I may have a VR problem from reading the forums. Does anyone know how to test one? It is 5 hours to the dealer from me. My idle does not stay consistent and the dash lights and lights flicker. :realmad:

I have a multimeter but have not done a lot with it. I can figure it out of someone can walk me through it. How much is a regulator? Seems to be pointing that way from what I have read. Where exactly is it located? Thanks
