I have a system by dunertunes. I talked with Sam (from dunertunes) and he built a system to suit the skeg and the snow for me. MP3 player amp and speakers. All marine gear. It rocks too. If you have a 12V plug get a mid sized solar panel from "the tire" and set it up at the end of the day to...
Zillas are the right choice. They are lightweight so you can clean the lugs and have a good tread for the conditions west of rocky. Shale and sharp rocks seem to eat em up a little but its better than digging down in the softies.
Isn't this the MUD PIT CHAT. Sorta seems like the wrong place crusade against mud riders. Pick up your garbage wear your helmet and be respectful. Pretty simple to me.
I love the zillas. Lightweight yet gnarly lug. I did knock one off the rim when I found a log in the bottom of a snorkle worthy hole. Guess I'll need some Swamp Lox. :homer:
Okay so I finally have enough dough saved to fix my Rzr but want to upgrade some stuff along the way. I will be rebuilding the front left corner due to a lost castle nut and hub failure causing the wheel to come off and destroyed the brake system. I need to do tie rod and steering rack and was...
I am running the RDC lift on the RZR. I have not had any problems with CVs yet but will be saving this winter for turner axles also available through Rubberdown just to be sure. I have maxed out my suspension but the majority of riding I enjoy is mud mud and more mud. Any ,more questions feel...
Hey J hope your trip is going well. Drop me a line when you get back to the west. I may have a little build project you will be intested in. It even pays!!! LOL
There have also been some thefts in Ft Sask. My neighbor had his quad stolen from the back of his pickup last weekend. They tried to take the whole rig but he had a hidden fuel pump shut off on his truck so they just smashed the steering column slit his seats and trashed the inside. Keep your...
Slightly biased opinion but my vote is for the RZR. I took an XP for a ride a couple of weeks ago and was impressed. Very powerful and comfortable ride but no passengers. The width of the non "S" RZR sounds like it would be better suited to the trail riding you do. The RZR lets me take one...
I managed to remove the front left tire on my RZR this last ride. Didn't even need to undo one bolt!! I lost a hub nut in a mud hole and the only thing left holding it together was the caliper. Didn't take long for it to let go once we hit dry trail again. Exciting when the drivers tire...
Here are a couple pics of the troop around here.
Big brindle guy is Morley (Old English Mastiff) about 9 yrs old (rescue) and Bailey (australian Sheppard Colllie X) almost 15 (also a rescue). The fawn Mastiff (Oscar) was my bestest buddy in the world but he passed some number of years ago. The...
I agree. Just enjoy the vast wealth of knowledge available and quit the bashing. Alot of these things start as two buddies trashing a bit and then someone else jumps in and AWAY WE GO.
Loving this site!!
