    Sleds Getting Dusty

I've been using the time to deck out our enclosed trailer. Built a boot dryer and workbench, adding a stereo and some fold down benches. Keeps my sanity while I wait for it to snow

    garmin 650 mapping

This is the one I've been using, not as detailed as the backroads Maps, but more than enough info for my needs. https://buy.garmin.com/en-CA/CA/maps/on-the-trail-maps/topo/topo-canada/prod1016.html

back fire after top end rebuild

I decided to take moto's advise and start from scratch. Both cylinders have 125 psi compression cold. It is getting fuel, the plugs are wet. Nothing is plugged with rags, throttle bodies and exhaust are clear. Pistons are installed correctly, arrows facing to the exhaust side, ring gaps are to...

back fire after top end rebuild

Found one of the plugs for the ecu was ever so slightly loose. Now I have spark and I am back to my original problem. Sled sputters briefly, lights on the gauges come on. After turning it over several times I get a huge backfire. The plugs are brand new and the fuel is fresh premium from Shell

back fire after top end rebuild

It was running but it had gone into limp mode. The wiring removed was the two plugs into the ecu, sensor on the pipe, temp sensor in the head, and air box sensor, all of which are plugged back in. I'll check the mag pick ups

back fire after top end rebuild

Never had the throttle bodies off, and the throttle cable has not changed since before the new top end. I adjusted the cable to have a little more free play but it still wont start. I have no idea what is killing the spark. I'm not familiar with polaris so I'm totally lost now

back fire after top end rebuild

Sled is fully back together, exhaust valves installed properly. I just checked to see if it was getting spark and found that it sparks for a quick second and then stops when you turn it over. It does this everytime I turn the key, sparks for 1 sec and then nothing as the engine is still turning...

back fire after top end rebuild

both are correct, I pulled the plugs and turned the motor over to clear out the crankcase. Threw in a new set of plugs and that cured the backfire. Still wont start though

back fire after top end rebuild

I just finished installing the "fix Kit" into a friends 2008 Dragon 800. I tried starting it back up and I get nothing but a huge backfire. I am not familiar with fuel injected sleds so I am wondering if I need to bleed the fuel system or something before starting it up? Any info would be most...

    Dragon crankshaft replacement

I am helping a friend rebuild his 08 Dragon. His top end went last season and he took it in to the dealer. They torn down the top end for inspection and gave him a quote to repair it. The quote was pretty unreasonable so he decided to pick it up. He ended up renting for the rest of the season so...

    Garage heaters

Another vote for the radiant. Had one in my last garage and loved it. Got mine from Calcana Industries in Calgary. I'll be putting one in my new place this winter.

    07 front vents

I just installed the Fogzskins on my 07 as well. Nice product, fits perfect. Got tired of those metal screens falling out too.
