Yeah I wasn't too stoked on it,, But looks like I'll have it all fixed up tomorrow!

Nothing here Dan. They are in stock at BRP in Sherbrooke though.

Thanks! I was having a hard time finding any, so I wound up going with the Ice age rails.
Hopefully they are a bit stronger?

I have around 1500km on the sled and haven't really done any maintenance yet, so this will be a good
opportunity for me to go through it. And be mobile again boxing day!

Well after 5 hours of wrenching and 600$ in parts the sled is up and running again! Yahoo!!
Hopefully January will be a lil easier on equiptment,, The T3 doesnt like low snow.

Did a little scrap on the center shock,, nothing serious. Other than that the Raptors are still mint after 1500km's The stock shocks would be ready for a rebuild by now.

New rails and Hyfax sliders! Yes I know the spring block thingy's(yes thats the technical term) are upside down,, caught that after I put the skid back in..lol

Ready to Rock! Tomorrow im going to grease it, adjust chain tension and a few other minor things and she'll be ready for snow!

I lost a Gopro this week up on the mountain and didnt want to pay 500$ for the pimp daddy Hero4 again so
I'm going to try out the Hero,, only was 200$ records in 1080p so hopefully it works good. No point paying 500$
with the way they get smashed off trees ext.

I'll get some video up here asap,, now that im like a 1000$ into gopro's I better at least put up some good vid...

This sledding is expensive! I swear a crack habbit would be cheaper and probably safer too...lol

Is there any particular reason you mount that center shock with the resivor down to the ground?

i mount mine up towards the tunnel. Keeps from holding excessive snow and **** that cycles in the track.

this raises an excellent question that i was holding back from posting. but we have 3 sets of raptors with bent adjusting knobs from just what you speak of. i suspect ice chunks and debris cycling through the track hitting the shock resevoir. this is how raptor reccomends installlation. but i agree with your method providing it doesnt hit the track on the top

Its the way Raptor's instructions say to mount it, for clearance reasons. Plus the bushings are different on the top and bottom of the shock. So thats the only way
you can mount it.

And yes I agree I would prefur to mount it the way Oler is.

he means just rotating it 180 not reversing it. bushings should still work....

I think he's saying to mount the reservoir at the top up near the tunnel?? In that case the bushings wouldnt work as far as I can tell? I can get Jonathon from RPS to answer this question. Might take a couple days cause it Christmas though:beer:

Yup resivor at top of tunnel.

i am going to guess raptor will respond with that the limiter strap may make contact with the resivor. If you position the limiter strap so it bends outwards (towards the drivers), it won't be a problem.... Or just remove one as some people have. I am 4000km trouble free so far!

edit: are the bushing not removable, can you not just flip them around to make it work?

I removed one strap on mine, but the top bushings are metal and held in with 2 c-clips and the bottom bushings are a poly urethane or plastic or something.
I never really looked, but I don't think the bottom has the grooves for the c-clips to hold the bushings in? I didnt look real close though so maybe it does?

Jonathon will be able to answer that question:beer:
