i ordered mine directly from casey at h&s. Was 1300 for my black maxx. With the h&s they are constantly working to improve the software, like fixing any bugs that may arise, and adding extra features all through an update process you can do at home. I am very happy with their product and their service. Also you can purchase the overdrive software which is transmission tunning.

do you have their e-mail address? I'll check into distributorship

My buddies 2011 3500 single wheel bone stock with 20,000k last two trips has been 950km per tank, lightly loaded with two bikes, dogs, gear, coolers and such from Calgary-Castlegar and back...same with Shuswap and back towing the boat.

WOW. I cant beleive that some of the guys are sayin that they dont get 800km out of a tank with havin a 120L tank. Compared to my 2003 chev 6.0L gas where i get 600km/tank or better if i drive nice and 6 or just under if i up around the 120 mark and it only has a 100L tank in it.

The new 2011 chev duramax i've been told you get about 700mile to a tank of fuel and it is a 130L tank i beleive.

The rumor we were told by the dodge dealer in our area is that dodge is putting a new motor in there diesel pick-ups for next year. It is supposed to be about 8.0L (very similar to the one used in there 3 & 5tonn trucks). They are supposed to be around 500hp and about 900ft lbs torque. Like i said in the beginning tho this is just rumor that the dealer told me.

with my 06 duramax, i can get between 700-800km per tank if i'm just running down the highway, doing about 115, and that's with the 100L tank

When i first got my 6.7 I hated the truck and wished I'd never dealt my 5.9. Only could get 800 to a tank driving like grandpa and no power! Waited for that "magic number", 10-15,000kms, where it would "open up", it never did! At 30,000 I called Casey at H&S and now after 77,000kms I am trouble free and lovin it, besides the shitty dodge trannys but that's another story. I still get 750 to a tank with a 6" lift and a 355 tire. On the scale truck weighed 8300lbs, not bad mileage for the beast it is!

Anything done to it? I just put a 4" Magnaflow downpipe - back exhaust on my '06 Dmax and it's absolutely amazing how much difference it made mileage wise.

i did 4' catback exhaust and cold air intake pretty much from day 1. i think it had 2500 km when i did that! so i don't know how much it changed my mileage, cause i never really got a good read before i did the changes

I put full deletes and a mini max with pyro on 3" carli lift and 33's. Still only get 17 or 18 on highway and 10-14 around town and short trips. ( imp/mpg). I saw about 2-3 IMPG with the deletes.

Is everyone talking on the regular 6.7 or the HO??? is the HO any different? I know I am having a B!tch of a time finding a HO the way I want all the dealers trucks were ordered before the May 2 build date and sat on the lot for months unless you want a longhorn they all have the HO's build dates were June on those.
So I'm still torn between the Reg or the HO

If anyone cares whats new for the 2012 is power folding mirrors (they are also on the 11's after July 3 build date) New 6 speed manual for the HO, and the Ram box guess they figured they would put it on the working truck rather that laramine 1/2 tons

If you're buyin' a dodge diesel....... Doo it soon, before the $10000 dealer incentive is gone. It's not applicable on the ho 6.7l, only the regular. You can always upgrade the difference to get to the 800 ft lb h.o. Spec......

The incentive is available on the HO, I just went through this with my dealer. I think I'm going to hold on to my 07 till the cummins HO needs urea in 2013-14. I got 13.5mpg towing my holiday trailer to Vernon not bad considering my truck is still stock I like my warrenty better than fuel milage, especially after seeing a 20000 bill for a new installed cummins at the dealer because the owner blew up the engine because it was chipped.

Pulling my 30.5' fifth wheel Jayco from Bonnyville to Edson I averaged 11.8 mpg, from Edson to Valemount I averaged 13.3 mpg from Valemount to Merrit I averaged 14.7 mpg. these are actual values calculated from numbers on gas receipts. Not too shabby in my opinion. I will have to get the numbers from Merrit to Gibsons later today.
