I would do your research. Forrest river is a good product, I think its a personal thing. Like Ford, Chev or Dodge. I am very satisfied with my trailer. I looked at Wells Cargo and United, Feather lite. Mine is the hardwall unit with the 5200 lb axles x 2. Steel frame. Then I armorthaned it and had J&G urthanes spray foam underneath. Its heavy but I have a Diesel.. You get what you pay for. Go to Forrest river's website and look at the information. Check Wells Cargo. I stuck with steel as I have friends that have the aluminum one with smaller axles and it came apart, and another 2 friends with featherlites and they broke. You have to inspect a lot. I would of liked the doors to be aluminum though..

Continental Cargo

I purchased a 26ft Continental Cargo made by Forest River in 2002. Aluminum frame with a fiberglass sidewalls. Love the trailer until this past year. After a minor jackknife turn in Climina parking lot the trailer frame snapped just behind the hitch ( where all the structural members come together ) This left the trailer on the parking lot and the coupler still attached to the truck with the safty chains. This could have been a disaster if this happen while on the highway. Nothing hurt except my pride. This past summer I noticed all the tires where wearing unevenly. I took it into McCoy Bros. to get it checked out. They had to replace both axles. (there is no adjustment in the factor axles). I thought the aluminum frame was the way to go but now I am not sure, you don't have to paint but you should have the frame checked each season. A friend of mine bought a Mirage trailer. It has some unique features but time will tell if its any better.

Thanks for all the reply's,some very good information there.I still have a bit of checking around but I will give advantage a plug for there price.(7499.00) for a two place that is not a hardwall.I might just try buying one in the states and pay the duty and taxes and see if I can save some money. They sure are a lot cheaper south of the border!
