Worksafe BC request for Golf Carts - Crazy

Worksafe BC has put in a request that they would like to see golf courses to retrofit golf carts with seatbelts and roll cages. This was not something the golf courses are in check with. Basically its ridiculous. Worksafe BC has now backed down on there crazy thoughts, but will look into it further, whats next from that crazy government.

And their reasoning was that on company golf tournaments, an employee could get hurt and Worksafe would be liable for disability and medical costs.
How does this stuff get through a board meeting? All golf courses in bc now need seatbelts because one clown decided to make a claim? So dumb. How bout simply cut out coverage on company outings? Seems a lot easier. Any whiner who is gonna claim medical and wages from a company recreational outing, supplied with booze, free green fees and cool ass prizes should stay TF home anyways. Haha

BC residents in the saner part of this province (everywhere except the Lower Mainland) get double facked. We get shat forced on us from both Provincial and Federal governments that we never voted for. And to answer the question how is the NDP workin out for us, as good as it worked out for Alberta. It could have meant that all golf courses would have to replace the carts with RZRs and Mavericks! But no, because the damn NDP went and pushed it down because the "Big Golf" was too greedy we now have to drive around in much more dangerous golf carts and actually think for ourselves while we drive!
