Yesterday, a foreman on our job site was sitting in his work truck. His hardhat was off and his window was down about 6 inches. He vaguely remembered a large black object fly over the truck. Seconds later, he felt something hit the side of his head. He put his hand on the area and looked at his hand .... bird crap. A raven flew overhead, took a dump and it flew through the window striking him with a perfectly aimed shot. No word yet if he has to submit to a pee test.

If word of this gets out we will soon all have to wear bio-hazard suits on the job. With at least 258.35cm^2 of CSA approved reflective stripping of course.

Has work safe done their investigation? Wonder what his WCB payout will be.

Oh no, another incident. We were holding our weekly safety meeting with about 20 people crowded in our lunch room trailer. Usual safety meeting topics, noticed a faint smell of melting plastic but didn't have any cause of concern. As we collected our selves to return to work, a Supervisor reached down for his hardhat and found it had melted to an electric heater. It had melted a puck sized hole in the side. You know, there may better places to work, but I'll bet not as interesting.
