wideband 02 location?

finally got my wideband 02 gauge, before i go and drill my brand new slp ceramic coated exhaust, would like to know where everybody have there's,
some people say to put it 6 inch away from piston scurt, some at the widest part of the pipe, and the rest at the silencer. the first one is true if it's a 4 stroke, wich i don't have, running 10 m1000,

I had one in the widest part of the slp pipe but now after switching back to stock exhaust i have it mounted in the can.

why did you switch back to the stock pipe? did you notice difference in reading?

I went back because it was what was recommended by Kelsey at RK Tek. I have the 15hp head and base gasket kit and it was designed to run on a bone stock sled. I think its working better than it did with a full SLP system.
