Some of the best snow I've had has been just south of the boarder, if you hit it just right it can be epic! It's no different if someone from Montana hit Boulder and or Quartz after 700-800 peeps just hooker beat the fawk out of it! they would probably say the same thing you are. . Knowledge of where to go when is key. This takes time and dedication.In my experience going south has always been a disappointment. West is the answer IMO. With 9-10 of settled snow in the Revy area and good, dry snow at the higher elevations of the Golden area's why anyone would want to go to a 2-3ft base south of the border?
