Where to buy good back country maps?

Hey we are going quading up to the nordegg area for august long this year and wondering if anyone know where a good spot is to buy maps of quad trails? Does everyone just get like an oilfield map? Thanx For you help! Greg.

go to the forestry and pick up a Forestry land use map FLUZ. oilfield maps will help also the backroad maps at most local sports stores. you can also use topo maps found at valhalla pure , or Caroline Store, or most outdoor shops.

We use the Backroad Mapbook publications for our area.
It's been priceless. They make them for Alberta too

the topo maps are good, but they are large and don't fold that well. you can also drive out of the maps area on a quad trip, and thus need a second map.of different area. best to carry photo copies.

The mapbooks are priceless for that...fit anywhere and cover way more area than you can on a quad Topographical now too

Get the backroad map books at any Fishin hole in Edmonton...great books for finding those outta of the way places

Just picked up a Backroad Mapbook - Central Alberta and a Northern Alberta at Wally. Now to get rid of some snow....
