12v pump, small snatch block, nylon sling, lunch, water, first aid kit, socks, spare belt, jacket/sweater, sometimes gas

adding blanket before next outing (smart, although there might be a survival blanket in my first aid kit).

I'd also mention... extra winch line, ether, air compressor, shovel, hatchet, flare / bearscare kit, a complete change of clothes from boots to toque, emergency booze, backpack, binoculars and a small tarp with parachute cord... I got stranded this spring and spent the night under a tree, it was comfortable, but a few added items would have made the whole experience much better

Good question... recreational booze seems to always disappear from my quadbox... emergency booze is the strong stuff, squirreled away in a difficult to reach spot so it doesn't 'disappear' on a regular basis
