It was an old super olympic and then shortly moved on to a Rupp 23sprint that I bought for $200. Never even knew the years, but still have both but neither run anymore. The suuper olympic looked mean wth the set of bull horns i had strapped to the hood.

My first sled was a 1971 ski doo 399. Yes hard to believe i was once a ski doo girl hahaha. I laughed at the bogie wheel comment because mine flew off till i could no longer ride it then i switched to a old Puma, yes thats CAT :D then it went 440 prowler, 550 cougar, and WOW do i remember when the powder special first came out and we all thought WHAT a mean machine!!! The 136 seemed like such a huge aggressive track. Then it was a 600 Powder , now a 800 MC.

mine was a 1979 blizzard 5500 then moved to a 1980 9500 blizzard and currently own a 1997 formula 3
i remember toeknee with that old roloflex when we grew up together
somehow that 340 did not have enough go so he swapped a 440 into it
somehow he could not figure how to keep the muffler on it when he tried to outrun the feds and had to pick it up later when he had to throw it in the snowbank along with the whiskey he was carrying :ha_ha:

Ya I remember that too, you had the only 9500 blizard with a Roll-o- flex tail light embeded into the hood :D You followed too close even then LOL

I learned on a 1980 Arctic cat eltigre 6000. She was 1 year older than me and I remeber how heavy she was when I got her stuck. I was small and the walk back to the house for help was damn long. When Dad was gone my mom was never to eager to help me either. It just seamed like there was always better snow the farther you were from home.

PS.Thanks MOM

My first sled was a '75 Tn't 340 FA, I bought it new. Followed it up with a '76 340RV, nice sled. I just snow checked an '08 RevXP Everest 800r and I have a '72 Tn't 340 Fan in the garage being restored and another 4 sleds between those 2 all Ski-doo's. Guess I'm committed or need to be...depending on who you ask.;)

The first sled I Owned was a 2000 Arctic Cat ZR 600. I rode the crap out of it and did not put a penny into it. But it still ran good.
