What is an adapter on a Can Am for?

I called BRP today to see if they have the CVT intake pieces and they did; costs about 66 bucks for the filter and the intake tube. Problem Solved! And I am with you on the go in somewhat cautiously and then give'r:d. Besides the wife likes to get muddy not drowned!

Got the CVT tube, you have to bend the connector support up but she fits in there ok. Have to modify the splash guard a bit, but that is pretty minor. Hope the pics speak for themselves. I am pretty impressed at how well it fits.

Just an update, tried to drown my outty to just over the tops of my tires and did not succeed! The sytem works great, soaked both me and wife with just a ton of water and had a blast nary a problem. I definitely recommend a snorkle for your quad. You may never use it but if you need it is there. Just saying.:cool:

The XMR is a MAX unit so it is longer so as far as I know, not the same size but I know that some guys have made their own set ups
