Water/oil pump belt

I need to change, my water pump/oil pump belt anyone have exploded views of this repair.

It is pretty easy you have to take off your exhaust pull off the recoil houseing and oil pump and it is right there, should only be 1.5 hr to do from start to finish, i just did it on my old sled a couple weeks ago.

Watched somebody do it last year...looked pretty easy.

Well I pulled my recoil housing off to my amazement, the nut that holds dogtooth together, fell of and took my water/oil pump belt out, chewed the hell out of I should say, no damage occured to any of the cog teeth on the engine side or the waterpump side.

you are lucky that your machine didn't overheat, that doesnt sound good but at lease you caught it before you had a meltdown.

I think some damage might have been done, but time will tell I guess. I hope the engine will last this winter, so in the spring it can be rebuilt.
