Keep a close eye on your Rear Skid Shock! We had a couple shock caps, unscrew from the shock barrels over the Weekend! Both were on 2012 Pro 800's!

Unfortunate that happened. How many miles on the sleds now Diggerz? When was the last time that the shocks were inspected?

I guess my point is that perhaps checking the shocks should be a good routine maintenance item for everyone on any sled of any make.

These Sleds had 1800 km's and 2800 km's on the other. The sleds get a Pre and Post trip inspection every day they go out, and a weekly re-torque on all front and rear suspension bolts. The spring pre-load adjusting nuts on the shocks are also backing off, a lock nut should be added.

Congrats Digger. I wonder how many brands would cover that.

My 2011 pro did the same thing with 1850 miles and totaly screwed the shock also bent the tunnel just a little bit with all the bottoming out coming down the ungroomed trail.
So just be cautious of this guys.
