VHF Radio mount in 09 GM Truck

Has anyone mounted a VHF radio in a NBS gm truck? if so where? I dont have the full floor console that goes to the dash and I want to mount it so it relatively hidden for security. I could just mount it on the trans tunnel but was looking for more security.

Do you have the storage compartment under the centre front seat?
That would be a good spot.

Thanks, I did but I wanted to be able to see the screen while scanning and not have to open a lid everytime. I found a factory floor console at the wreakers and intergrated into that so just the face is portruding through, still able to see it but its kind of hidden, the mic a cord will give ti away anyways. I can always throw a coat over it i park somewhere shady, but then the antenna will give it away.
