Used Belt?

The guy I bought my sled from said the spare belt is new but it looks used to me.
any tell tale signs a belt is used?

It turns out it is the wrong one for my sled too so i am not planning on using it but if it is still good i could give it to somebody that uses that one.

If some of the cord is missing or if the cord is a black color.Here is a crapy pic from my phone.......Top used,bottom new.cord is white on the new one.

I had a look at the cords and half are white and half are black.

could be from when they cut the belt at the factory????

Do a search to see how wide the new belt is supposed to be. Measure your belt.

Yes it could be like that from the factory. i noticed that on one of my belts.

Some guys also break there spare belt in, so when time comes they dont have a belt failure due to an improperly broken in belt. just a thought
