OHV BAN UPDATE.
- please see below email and as well the links provided. The Agriculture and Forestry Minister has lifted the OHV ban, but not the fire ban. No fires at our cabins and please do not use our cabins if you are out for a ride.

Hey Darin,
Agriculture and Forestry are responsible for implementing these types of bans or restrictions.
As it stands right now, industry is allowed to use OHV’s during field work.
Here’s a website to follow: https://wildfire.alberta.ca/

As for the general public OHV restrictions; currently there are ongoing discussions in regards to public use of OHV’s where GOA “MAY” implement OHV restrictions only where fire hazards are potentially higher. So in regards to this, standby there may be changes and just keep checking in with this website: https://wildfire.alberta.ca/
The general public has to consider or take into account with this pandemic that Forestry is having their own issues as far as keeping their firefighters (FF’s) / personnel safe: housing, spacing, and in small groups so they don’t become sick themselves or infect others.
They’re trying to be proactive in eliminating or reducing human caused fires, while in the attempt of keeping their FF’s safe as well.
Just keep checking this website for updates:
