Yes we went a 4 years ago. We went to beaches and liked it a lot. But there really isn't anything to do outside of the resort. And I'm not kidding.... nothing. So if you want to go and wind down. Relax and stay on resort. Great place to go with good food. We also went to Jamaica this year and was a bit better with zip lines. ... falls. You know the normal stuff. The next one were going to is St Lucia next year. So depending on what you want to do I think it helps you makes a choice of where you go. Mexico has lots of outside things to do and the smaller the island you go to the less choices you have
Hope this helps

Went there 3 years ago, by far the nicest place I have been in the Caribbean area. We stayed in the Grace Bay area, rented a condo off of VRBO at the Alexandra. Resort was small but very nice and close enough to bike downtown to get a few groceries and liquor. Not really a lot to do, mind you we did not look too hard. We rented a car for a day and I think we drove every road by 1 in the afternoon. Did two days of diving there, was awesome. Otherwise was a very relaxing holiday, would go back for sure, but have other places we want to get to like Bora Bora!!

Went to Turks a few years back. Very nice and much less of the hassling you get in some other places but like others said the smaller the island the less there is. I don't mind just hanging out at a resort though so Turks was definitely my favourite over Jamaica, Antigua, and Mexico.
