Anyone that has been to fernie this year or locals know which off-load and trail up is most promising to find good snow. We arrived here last night asked a few locals but they don't skidoo. Thanks for any help.

stop at ghost rider and buy some trail maps….Fernie has not had much snow yet good luck.
We rode fernie on the weekend, there is just enough snow to get yourself in trouble. Play safe, lots of hidden gems waiting to be found just benieth the surface. We unloaded at moressy, and headed back towards corbin and just played done near the creeks off the cutblocks. about 3.5 to 4' outta the wind. was raining when we left, play safe and be aware out there.

Thanks guys. We had a good safe ride yesturday with plenty of stucks. Went down the pipeline and got over to a bowl found nice untouched snow on one hill was a lot of fun. The new cabin with the snow and mud gear warmer by the stove was awesome. Even though the snow ain't perfect the scenery is unbelievable

The burn area around the new cabin is a land mine with large stumps and large roots as a result of a forest fire. That isn't really ready yet but it looks good to a newbie to the area. There are some sweet places on the "back side" of the Coal Summit over by the power line. It is still early this year and one has to be careful......
