When you parked in a sledding community like Revelstoke with the "Snowandmud.com" trailer it's impossible to hide.
Had the opportunity to meet a site member in the parking lot of Timmy's. Thanks for saying hi Savage420, it was great to met you.

Cheerz.

Thanks to Cathy (and here husband) from the SledRevelstoke site. She was kind enough to keep some parts at her place while we rode Trout Lake and then insisted we stop by for a coffee on the way back to Edmonton. She's a first class ambassador for the snowmobile community.
Thanks for your hospitality

Hey, does anyone know who this guy is.

He introduced himself and claims to be both a memeber and buddies with another known member of the site.

Who is this very nice guy we met on the Ferry ride yesterday (on the left on front of the trailer)?

It's nice to see photos of members but what everyone is waiting for is the "Damage"...so I'll start.

I was climbing out of a valley and the front of my sled was off the ground and a rut pulled me sideways...the sled did an endo and rolled a number of times and ended up backwards in a tree well. Not my favorite moment of the last days ride...but mine isn't the best...they get better...cheerz.

He is a very sad fisherman...3 fish in three days between 5 people. But like a sledder after a bad trip.....still said he would do it again.

Hey sled bunny did you get to great northern on the last day or two. was nice to meet you there just to put a face to a name. we rode gn on saturday when you went elsewhere. was a little socked in and had tomake an early exit when the staitor on the 900 cat died. luckily we got him towed out from the lake. every body was too bagged from 6 days riding. didn't see a storm at all on the ride home sunday.

For this year we decided to continue exploring the back country of "Foggy Day" The weather lived up to the name for the most part, we saw little sun. We had a great ride Saturday. Sunday we had a sled blow a motor in the back country so we cut our day a little short, but not much. On the way down we had another sled break it's suspension so we ended our weekend a day early.
It was great to meet you and your fellow riders. It's always interesting to hear the insight a long time rider of an area has. Next year we will ride Great Northern.

Thanks again.

We had some competition between a Cat and a Doo. They had a tough climb that included a flat spot followed by a near vertical climb. Both sleds were using NOS. The Kitty made the climb first but Ray wasn't about to accept defeat...he pounded at the hill until he succeeded. Here is a clip of his climb.
