i saw at used and new take off tracks advertised, for cheap, starting at 100.00. they should be even to tell you what kind you will need also. i have about an inch and a half on my 583, and i hope it to be plenty around here. i wonder if you have to "drop and roll" the gears to get a two inch in under sleds like ours?
i have a 1993 formula z with the 583
have a good one

Laurelfox, I've corrected the link name for you.
Here is what happens, when you post a link a window will pop open, you paste in the link and when you click OK then the link shows up on the page with an area that is highlighted. This highlithed area is where you enter in the name you want to call the link.
See attachement below. Hope this helps.

i dont know why it came up as "title" i was refering to bucklake bobs website

A 2inch track will fit on a skidoo f chassis with changing from 9 to8 tooth drivers although clearance is very tight. A 1and 3/4 track will fit with 9 tooth drivers, but clearance is also tight. Ski doo used the f and s chassis untill 99 in 2000the z/x chassis came out. The exception is the 99 mxz 600 and the 99summit 600.A 1.5 track works well locally and will get you by in the mountains,as long as your sights arn't to high. I hope this helps.
