Trailer or use the box

Looking at getting a sled this year(used) looking at a 2003 yamaha viper 700 nice shape anyway I only have a 6 foot box how much track is going be off the back. With the end gate down a 136 mxz use to just fit. If I get a trailer a 10 foot deck should be good right? Rather use the truck as have no where really to store a trailer. The viper had a 151 track btw

Truck will work fine. The sled will be about 10 feet long...so about 18" will hang over the tailgate. (mostly bumper and snowflap).

ive put my 162 in the wifes 5 1/2 ft f150 with no problem. just strap it in and maybe throw a red flag around the track and youll be fine.

Use the box. I run around all the time with a 154" Summit in my 6.5' Chevy box without any issues. I've also had a 163" Pro in there driving through BC with no issues.
