That poplar will sure split a lot easier in the winter when it is -30.

yes it will, but right now i have so much of it, this is just the start. getting the easy part first, the next is just a jumble of 2ft diameter trees in a twisted pile. that will take some time thinking and in cutting. will be a bit dangerous. the stack when done is 3 cords. i am running out of pile space rapidly. progress is made by being steady, those giving it, will be home in bed by 3 in the afternoon. i finished up at 10 last night. i now am an official sore spot.

Just working on the honey-doo list. They are very short staffed at my wife's place of work and she has been working extra shifts like crazy. No time for vacation. A labour of love keeping the yard in shape.
