any special tools to pull the mechanical seal on the water pump or any tips or tricks before i go buy the parts

there is a special tool to do it but it is like $80.00 from polaris. I use a alternator bearing puller. it is like $9.99 at princess auto. just make sure you do not bend the shaft. you will be splitting the engine apart if you do.
