You have to pull the side panel, then pop the black panel out on the front side, bend the panel back and then you can see the holder behind oil tank and chain case, stupid place for it. Mine is in the tunnel bag now

I luckily found mine on the running boards too on my first day. So lucky. Stupid place for the toolkit. I now carry it in my handlebar bag.
