Depends on what you want to spend. Either will work. Spacers are cheaper then rims.

I am not 100% sure, but on my 2011 850XP, I was able to switch the stock 26" Carlisle tires and add 30" Zillas on the stock wheel and has no issues. Take it for what it's worth...

ok but do you have the front strut or the front a-arms because i have the front struts which i think are the issue because i think if i had the a-arms i wouldn't have this issue

9 x 27 Zillas are a very small tire ....I think you will clear the struts fine . Try it , worst case a narrow (3/4) spacer required. But I think you will be fine .....

I have the same unit and I think the stock fronts are 9" wide as well so the zillas should fit.

If it was me.
Offset 12" rims and decide on tire.

With offset rims like the ITP 4 spoke for example you can run up to 29-30" tires without a lift.

If you dont have the offset or spacers you will have turning clearance issues most likely , and possibly other issues with travel.

If it was me id prob go offsets and 28" tires on a 800xp but that's just me.
