My dealership says cat likely won't warranty that clutch fan because I put dalton weights in, and over torqued the bolts and will likely have to pay for warranty work myself.
1- the fan isn't going back on anyway.
2- I didnt over torque them, But it's their word against mine.
3- I don't think even if it was over torqued it would melt off.

I guess my years as a motorcycle tech taught me nothing. ohh well.

Take a look in the shop manual under FAQ's. It says to replace dealer with new updated version. Lol.

The diagnosis for my coils was more plausible...apparently my recoil rope was too close and was confusing the coils...

I knew when I was taking it back to the dealership I bought it from I wasn't going to get quality work done. But other dealerships I phoned asked where I bought it from, laughed, then told me to take it there because they didn't even want to look at it.
I knew buying it $1900 cheaper than other shops wanted to sell me one would turn around and bite me in the ass...
A wet rope I would see, but it was running fine the day before. It was the next day when the problem occurred.

I'm going to keep it disclosed. My sled is still there, and I can already tell this is going to be a gong show.

Can't say. To much politics involved

Lol. They actually aren't a site sponsor as far as ads I've seen but they already have a good reputation for being the worst dealership in Edmonton.

I don't think you will have a hard time finding a clutch fan for cheap IF you wanted one I bet lots of guys take them off.
