It is groomed from Whitecourt till almost the Tom Hill Tower road. Stopped because of beaver dam. Not sure if the Edson side is done yet.
Sledding out that way today.

Trail is now groomed all the way from Whitecourt to Silver Summit except for about 1/2 mile missed because of a beaver dam. Trail is in good condition as of today!

We rode Groat Creek to Silver Summit yesterday, best groomed trail I have ever ridden. Hats off to those who maintain it. Well signed as well, we had no trouble staying on the trail, although a GPS would probably be a good idea. Pretty good snow although some bare patches in places, which the snow yesterday may help with. There are a couple of big (ish) hills that may unnerve some young riders, but otherwise a good family outing. Round trip was about 145 KMs.

Thank you for the thanks! Trail should be good for a while yet. Just a couple of the high cut blocks are a bit bare. Some of the big drifts in those cut blocks reminded me of eastern Alberta! Some real good snow as you get farther west and north.
