Ummm how the hell did the Yamaha RX1 Mountain not make the list... it was reliable but ... yikes she was a pig!!

What are you talking about, I love my RX-1! But I must admit I’ve never taken it to the mountains. But man I can load the tube up with 20 kids and it pulls it like a champ.

Still ride and love my 08 Dragon.

Would give the vertical escape more of a failure then the Dragon.

My vote would be for the king cat though. Saw more of those going no where then anything else
I had a love/ hate relationship with my 04 king cat. Loved the torque, sled would pull your arms off. Hated having to blip the throttle on the trail or she would squeak pistons.

I had a 81 Moto-ski Futura 300, that was a factory long tracked and it sucked balls at Quartz in 1981. We barely got to the cabin with it. At least it was better then my buddies 81 Ski-doo MX 5500!!
the 81 doo was one of my worst sleds

Rode my RX1 in the mountains all the time put on over 10,000km. It was a sled that you had to ride, throttle control was a huge thing. I know of very few people that could muscle that beast all day.

To this day I have never seen anything like my pal's boosted RX1. Actually I don't think there was a piece left that was stock but still an RX1. They pointed sledding in a whole new direction.

Put 6000 km on an 05 RT. Liked it so much bought an 06 and did it again. Dad owned a 1992 v max as his main sled till 2000, he converted it to an 136” 2” track. Carried me or my brother on it for years, riding valemount, revy. Till we were big enough to handle our own machines.

Too funny. Buddy and I broke trail and broke into new terrain me on rt1000 (ok 06) and him on rx1 in 2012! We didn't know any better and both ran forever. Both failed with about 17000km on them. Yes we wrenched alot!
