I decided that I need a tall seat for my 700 RMK, the stock one is to low. I was wondering if a take of seat from a newer sled would work. or mayby there are some aftermarket seats available.

The simplest option is to take your seat into a upolstery shop and have it built up and recovered, be very specific on what you want, I was in a hurry and would do it a little different if I did it again. It cost me $140 and most of that was the cost of the foam.

The newer seats won't work, at least not without a ton of work, the under seat heat exchanger and coolant hoses are in the way. Need to heavily modify the seat, or change the cooling system to use the newer style running board coolers. Modify the stocker, or find an old Boss seat, and get it built up a bit higher.
