Tack and speedo not working

I have a 08 summit x and my speedo and tach are not working. The work "communication" is going across the screen. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in but it doesnt help. Anybody out there run into the same issue. I also have a issue with going in deep powder. On a hard pack trail the sled works perfect but as soon as I go into powder the sled runs on one cylinder. It will clear itself after a while. I looked for where snow might be getting in the breather but I couldn't see anything. I also can't see any wires either.Any suggestions

Just a thought. Look for a blown fuse located inside the right panel by the oil container.
