Swapping Skis Right to Left

Does anyone have any experience swapping their stock skis so that the outside 'keel' is on the inside?

I've read that it helps with carving/sidehilling.

Does it?

Yes it does with the pilot 6.9 skis. Cause the blocks for the outer carbides block that side.
