Sundre riding?

Have to go to Sundre this weekend for a family reunion, is there any dirtbiking in the area? Any info would help, thanks guys and gals!

lots of dirt bike riding, although trails may be muddy. trails for dirt bikes may be better west of the trunk road. i'm thinking less mud holes.

There's lots of good riding where they have the Rally. ...that's west of Sundre on 584. When the highway turns sharply North, leave the highway and keep going West on the gravel until you find something.

There's also a ton of riding west of Caroline, just 30min away from Sundre. You only need to drive about 10K West of Caroline before you'll start noticing good places to stage and trails leading into the bush.

What type of riding is it? I normally ride mx track, and hillclimbs/downhill single track. I imagine it won't be like that at all, but is it worth it? Not a big fan of just open fire road type riding.

you should have registration and insurance, how do you like riding mud? there are some roads, lots of trails, u should be able to find just about anything, most dirt bikers usually don't like the deep gooey mud out there though.

West towards the truck road there's some good hills ( sundre poker rally area ) but lots of mud also

looks like an extreme workout riding a bike through mud, seen a few take the next day off riding.
