Summit Parts help Please!

Hi, am am looking for a new coil for my 2002 Summit 700. I Have found a snowmobile salvage place and the owner says that he has plenty of coils that all look esactly the same, but have different part numbers and could be off an 800, or of a different year. DO any of you know if a 800 coil is the same as the 700 coil, and do they differ from year to year? am i going to hurt anything by trying it? I am going to the place on Saturday so any help would be great. thank you!

2000 thru 02 are the same they changed a bit on the ho motor go to
hlsm.com a good site to look up parts.The best way would be to bring
old one and compare.

Must be disc at ski-doo? Checked on comp and in catalogue, can get you a new one for a 2000 for $35.00. Both mount same, have same connectors/ leads. Call Mike at 985-2747.
