A long time ago and over about 4 summers I was able to travel most of it in a 4x4 truck. It is a amazing ride.

ACTION PETITIONED FOR:
We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens are concerned summer motorized recreationists who use the Kettle Valley Rail Line, urge our leaders to retain the current and historical mixed use classification (both motorized and non motorized recreation) of the rail line and work towards having the various recreational users collectively get along as happens in other provinces. As concerned motorized recreations we do not want to lose riding experiences that are currently accessible only by the KVR in order to cater to the exclusive use of cyclists who feel they cannot share the trail.

Signed. Just did all the legal portions of the trail from Pentiction to Castlegar. Started at think it is called Nathemade went north bypassed myra canyon to the south came back on hopped of some where close to midway. Rejoined just north of christina lake and went to Castlegar. Had to back track as gate was to narrow for Sxs or jeeps. Quads could fit.
One of the tunnels close to Castlegar was about a mile long.
